Movin' Out!

With the area cleared, the fence up, and the coop all finished,
it was time for the Chicklets to move out of the laundry room
and into their spiffy new home!
I'm pretty sure they love it!

Catch of the Day!

It was a "Let's go fishing" kind of night!
My sparkly keys! Random, I know, but if you know me you know how much I love sparkles, so just admire the sparkly beauty of this picture!
We weren't very successful at the first pond but we ended up getting lucky at the second! And by "we" I mean Marcel!
His catch!
My catch!
Even though I didn't catch anything I still had a great time! It's always nice to relax next to a pond, fishing pole in hand, and watch the sun set with the person you love!
Love nights like this!

BBQ'in

Today we went up to Pascal's house for a family BBQ and got to spend some time with this adorable little cutie!
Just chatting on her pretend phone, making important business calls in her big girl chair!
Marcel taught her how to play Angry Birds (well assisted her playing it!)! At first he used his finger to show her how to make the birds fly and she kept grabbing his finger and putting it on the phone so he would do it again! Then he took her finger and showed her how! They are so cute to watch together!
The weather was luckily really nice so we spent most of our visit outside!
Berlin hated this walker when she was small enough to need it and now she loves it! Such a silly girl!
She loves dipping her chips in salsa or whatever dip is available! Sometimes she would eat the dip and chip together, other times she would eat the dip off the chip and want to dip it again! Love her!
We had a good time and loved visiting everyone! Can't wait until next time!
Just a random little thing, earlier that day before the BBQ Toby was being a little weirdy so I got a couple pictures! Who stands like this?! Haha! He stayed like this for a few minutes too so it wasn't a mid step picture! Such a goober!

Romantic Friday night......!

After painting the Coop pink, we headed out for a little drive!
While out and about, we decided we wanted pizza for dinner, which was delicious! Such a romantic dinner with the fire place going and all! ;) Pretty sure we were watching Duck Tales too! We are definitely kids at heart!
With the fire place on it warmed up pretty quick so I took my socks off and just tossed them on the floor to be picked up when we were done watching our cartoons. Marcel noticed that one of my socks wasn't too happy about being discarded........!
We laughed so hard at this silly sock! Good times! Love relaxing Friday nights at home with my hubby!

Red Wagon?!?

We went to our local Hardware Store and had them mix us up a can of "Red Wagon" paint for the coop.......
That looks pretty pink to me! Hopefully once we get shingles on there it will look more red....if not that's okay too! The Chicklets are all girls after all! ;)

Coop Op.

Well the chicks are outgrowing their Idaho Potato box so it was time to build them a house! Marcel drew up the plans, figured out measurements, made a trip to Home Depot, and got right to work on this little beauty!
We have a pencil sharpener, but he insisted on sharpening the pencil with a razor because "That's how manly men sharpen pencils"! Silly boy!
He made this coop very accessible and it looks fabulous! He's so talented! The Chicklets will love it!
After only 2 days of building, he got it done and is pretty proud of it (as he should be because it's seriously awesome!)!
Now all we need is paint and shingles!

Green Wing Teal come home!

Marcel's ducks are finished and we didn't waste any time getting them up on our wall! These are terrible pictures that don't do this mount any justice. They look great!

Birthday Weekend~Turning 24

Friday:
The weekend started on Friday celebrating with my family! My mom, Jes, and myself headed to Ephraim to a cute little boutique for some shopping where I got a super cute outfit (thanks Mom and Dad!), made a quick trip to Wally-World where I saw this ice cream flavor that made me giggle like an immature little school boy, then grabbed Subway to take home and devour!
After dinner, it was time for some DeLiCiOuS cake and ice cream!
Picture time!!! My handsome, not so little brother!
My B-E-A-Utiful sister! (Don't mind our demon eyes!)
My Amazing parents! They have now officially been parents for 24 years and they are seriously the best!
My cute Westenskow Grandparents!
After having a great time with my family, I headed home. Marcel had a mandatory fire class he had to go to which is why he didn't go to Moroni with me, but he was home by the time I got back so I still got to see him!
Saturday:
The next day I had to work but afterwards Marcel and I headed north for a Day-Date! We went to the Provo Beach Resort for some bowling (I lost, as usual!),
played some arcade games and won some prizes!
After all that fun we walked out to the truck and found this cute little river behind the parking lot so we took some pictures!
I love this man so much! He is so good to me and I couldn't be happier! I'm one lucky girl!
After our little walk we went shopping at a couple different places to pass some time until the much awaited reservation we had for Tucano's!!
Marcel loves, seriously LOVES these cheese balls! He always piles them on his plate and scarfs them down then goes back for more! I'm all about the Pineapple! And we both love those yummy mints and grab handfuls of them on our way out!
We had a great day and after dinner headed home to slip slowly into our food coma's!
 Sunday:
The next day we got a fun visit from Suzanna and Berlin! We sure love these two and loved seeing them for a few hours!
Suzanna sent us this picture from the drive home! We wore this little cutie right out with all our fun and games!
 Monday:
When I came home for lunch from work I found this cute surprise on the kitchen table! We only had Christmas wrapping paper but it made me laugh! He even made me a birthday card that pops up! He's so cute! My present was a whole bunch of awesome cartoons from our childhood! The cartoons nowadays are awful so these will be great to have when we finally have kids! Until then we will definitely enjoy them ourselves!
For lunch he made scrumptious nachos that were Mmmm Mmmm good!
That night for dinner he made his infamous Enchiladas and I ate them until I couldn't breath! They are always SOOO good!
It was such a great weekend! I feel so loved! There are some pretty amazing people in my life! Thank you all for making this birthday so special! :)
