Pirate's Life for Me!

For our date night I planned a fun little outing inspired by the new movie Pirates 4! The movie had been out for a week or so and I really wanted to see it so I planned the date around that!

First I set the warning in Marcel's car for him to find when he left for work the day before!

That night I made the "Treasure Map" and clues!

In the morning I had Marcel get up and get ready, which is when he found the map! I hid the little clues for him to find along our journey! The 1st clue was with the map "Our ship be gettin' fixed so we best be takin' th' car on 'tis treasure quest. Travelin' on foot be far too treturous..."! His 2nd clue, hidden on the front door, said "We Must be off shootin' so we be ready fer an ambush. They won't be gettin' me treasure map..."! Can you guess where it took us?! That's right, the gun range!

The next clue, hidden in the car, said "Not that we've worked up an appetite, let us be off ter find a galley to put grub in ar gullets 'til we're stuffed. I've got a fierce fire in m' belly t'swill a pint or two o' grog..."! Any guesses? Yep, grub time! I had originally planned for us to go eat at Denny's but Marcel wanted to make Curry which ended up being WAY better! Yum yum!

The next clue, given to him after dinner, said "We must learn th' ways o' our scurvy pirate enemies. Be off to th' big screen to spy wit' ye eye what dastardly deed they be up to..."! Movie time!! We headed to the theatre and loved the movie! There was one spot in the movie (the big mermaid attack) where the screen shut off for a bit, the sound came back on but it took a minute for the picture to turn back on. Yeah we were kinda bugged but it was great other than that!

The final clue, given after the movie, said "Now that we be knowin' what they gunna do, we be knowin' we have the hour. Let's be off back home to find whar "X" marks th' spot 'n find ye glorious treasure! (Then we be gettin' some slumber to rest from 'r long journey!)..."! So, as the clue said, we headed home to find the treasure!
