A strange kind of Love, that I love!

I found this on a blog today and loved it so I wanted to share it on here not only for myself, but also for whoever reads my blog! I LOVE the Addam's Family, always have! I want to strive to be more like Gomez and Morticia in the marriage department! :)
"What I always enjoyed about Morticia and Gomez was how they made no secret that they passionately loved each other. We get so used to seeing depictions (on television especially) of married couples in continual states of contention—belittling one another, falling into the wife/mother-husband/child trope, and generally disrespecting each other, which made me wonder why they even bothered marrying in the first place.
But Gomez and Morticia never lose their desire and respect for each other. Is it because they’re “weird” that it’s acceptable to depict married life so positively? Or are they “strange” because, after three children and a lifetime together, they still adore each other? I know no marriage is perfect, but wouldn’t it be nice if the media portrayed marriage as more than a continuous state of exasperation and anger? Maybe that’s why romance novelists and romance novel readers are so embattled: because we dare to believe in love.
“How long has it been since we waltzed?”
“Hours.”  "

 Gomez: Cara mia.
Morticia: Mon cher.

Hello, my name is Jennifer....

....And I'm one of those people. The crazy Twilight fan! I just so happened to buy my ticket for the FINAL Twilight movie (along with my souvenir cup and popcorn bucket, of course!) tonight. This will be the last time, on my honor, or may I be turned in to the Volturi to be sucked dry... ;)

Manny's 1st Buck!!

That's right! He finally got past his point of freezing up and took the shot! 230 yards away and he dropped him! Congrats Manny on your very first Muley!! I wish I could've been there with you guys, but great job!!
Can you tell how excited he is?! Love it! :)

This little guy was hanging around Manny's buck when he shot him and he stuck around, only about 50 yards away, until Marcel tried to see how close he could get without spooking him! He got to about 35 yards when he finally took off! Hopefully he learns quick or he won't last long out there...!

While packing out the buck Marcel found a sweet shed!
Great day for these two!! :)

Love this pretty girl!
Demon wouldn't hold still long enough for a picture....Storm was happy to oblige!

A day in Springville!

We met up with Pascal to go duck hunting yesterday morning, with no luck. We had a few opportunities to get a few but it just didn't pan out. The terrain was really difficult for me so I fell down quite a bit in the yucky water and needless to say, didn't have that great of a time because of it. I'm not so sure if duck hunting is my thing....I'll have to give it another try in the future but somewhere else for sure!
We ended up spending the rest of the day up at Pascal and Suzanna's new house (which is super cute by the way!). We had yummy brunch, went shopping for dinner stuff, played with Berlin, the boys went to chop wood, and Suzanna and I got stuff ready for dinner!
Toby enjoyed relaxing outside while the meat was being BBQed!
We had so much fun playing with this cute girl! She is so smart and is getting so big! She can pretty much walk on her own now except she refuses to do so unless she's holding someones finger! She also has quite a few teeth coming in (couldn't get a picture of that!)!
All in all it was a great day! We really miss being able to see these guys all the time but it was definitely fun to spend the day with them! :)

Be-lated Birthday Celebration!

Since we couldn't get together on his actual birthday, we celebrated Austen getting older today! Toby was all smiles to be there!
My mom made her amazingly delicious Cheese & Broccoli soup (seriously you guys, A.MA.ZING!) with bread bowls!! Mmm.mmmm good! :)

After filling our bellies we played some intense rounds of "Nertz",  followed by watching
which was different but we all enjoyed it! Worth seeing at least once!
Once the movie was over we had cake and ice cream! My mom had me write everything on the cake and I may or may not have gotten a bit carried away, but I think it turned out alright! There were no complaints!
It was, of course, delicious!
Just look at how tall he is getting!! I can't believe it! This picture is so sweet! It is funny that these two can go from this
to this within the time it takes for the camera to refocus from taking the previous picture! Boys will be boys! ;)
My first attempt at taking a picture of us together was a failure! I told you he is getting tall! I cut off his head (not completely, but nearly headless!)!!
Take 2 was more successful!
I love this guy! He has grown and matured so much in this last year and I'm so proud of the young man he is becoming. He is going to make one extremely lucky girl very happy someday (that is if any of them can pass our approval of course, and believe you me, I will be critical. It comes with the territory of being the older sister I think!)!
Happy Belated Birthday Austen!!!

Eagle Eye

Practicing shooting the bow long distance for the extended archery hunt (aiming at the little yellow target in the back)! He's so ready!
I'm married to such a stud muffin!
*swoon*
