Quack Attack!

Marcel and I have decided to get involved in another area of hunting: Waterfowl. We dabbled in it a bit last year but we are going all out this year (within reason)! So today we headed north to get our stylish waders (no pictures, I know, you're disappointed, but that's not happening....yet!)! Marcel ordered some decoys online that will be coming soon so we are now set!

On our way home Marcel took me to a place in Springville that is swarming with Waterfowl!

There are birds EVERYWHERE!! There was a family that came by to feed them bread and they were stampeded!

It totally freaked the little kids out at first! It was funny to watch!

On our way out we pulled over to look at some more of them and they started gathering right next to the car expecting food! Sorry to disappoint quack quacks, no food here!

 It was so much fun to watch them all interact and swim around! They really are goofy animals!

Side note: On the way back home from seeing the birds we got a good view of how much snow is already in the mountains.

 As long as it stays up there, we're good! Snow away mountains!!

Indeed!

Today I got all our Halloween decorations up! I'm loving the way they look! 

Painted my nails to match my costume!

Then ended the day with some snuggle time with this little guy! It was pretty chilly, as you can tell! :)

Yay for Halloween!!

It's raining, It's pouring.....

.....However there are no old men snoring (at least nowhere in my vicinity)!

Today it decided to totally downpour, which is completely welcomed! However with that came a little snow on Nebo already.....

As long as the snow stays in the Mountains awhile, I'm fine with that! We had puddles that Toby could probably about swim in (slight exaggeration there) at our house by the time I got home from work!

Poor Toby looked like he had just come out of the shower when he came in from going potty being let outside!

Side note: This is what happened when I tried to fix the "red eye" on his picture.....creepy, but kinda silly!!

I dried him off quickly and we relaxed for a while.

He kinda has a thing for feet....especially slippered feet!

Days like these are the best days to have a nice big cup of Hot Cocoa!

Where's the Beef?!

What happens when you decide to grab a quick dinner (that is in NO WAY healthy) but one of you desires the deliciousness of the Curly Fry along with some thinly sliced Roast Beef and the other longs for the simplicity of Regular Fries with a few slightly more than $1 Menu Sandwiches?

Just look at all that grease seeping through the bags....Yummmm! ;)

You get both! This does not usually happen but I REALLY wanted me some Arby's....Marcel is not a fan of Arby's (which is an understatement but I am being kind to my "Good Mood Food")! He was a trooper and drove the long distance across the street to satisfy my craving, even if he was grumbling not so quietly under his breath the whole way! Thanks Hun! Much appreciated! I'm one happy woman and my growling tummy thanks you too!

Jes, as I have mentioned a time or two, is extremely talented in many aspects. The piano is one of them! I could just sit and listen to her play all day long (so could Toby!)! Love this talented sister of mine!
